QUICK MAR TRAINING POLICY
Electronic Medication Record and Dosing
Quick Mar training is a certification for all employees that dose medication(s). Quick Mar is pharmacy software that allows tracking, recording, ordering and dosing of all medications. The portion of Quick Mar identified in this training pertains to dosing and recording procedures and must be completed prior to dosing medication. This training is one section of several trainings in becoming a medical liaison at Gateway Academy.
Step 1: Follow link to quickmar.com
Access the Client Login section of the website (which will open as a new tab or new window, depending on your browser preferences)
Click on SUPPORT in the right hand corner
Click on TRAINING GATEWAY in the dropdown box
Click on ENTER CUSTOMER TRAINING SITE
Enter Username: test.hcp
Enter Password test and then move to step 2 to review training videos
Step 2: Complete the following trainings list under CAREGIVER
Getting Started
Passing meds-the Basics
Advanced Med Pass
Giving PRNs
Recording Exceptions
Reminders
*Remember this is one step in the medication dosing training process. You may still need to complete Medical Team training and shadow shifts prior to dosing.
